18 on Saturday
The 18 on Saturday golf group plays every Saturday around The Valley. This gives us the opportunity to play many different golf courses. We try to keep the cost under $90.00 in the winter and under $70.00 in the summer. The annual club membership fee is $30.00 per year + the Arizona Golf Association dues which includes a U.S.G.A. handicap. You may play with us twice before you're asked to join. We have 100+ members with handicaps between 5 and 28. We play friendly, competitive ready golf. Each week we have a $5.00 entry game and an optional hole-in-one pot. Amateur Players Tour PHX
We have a simple philosophy here at APT Phoenix: Take care of your players, and everyone will win. We don't bash other Tours or take cheap shots at anyone. We encourage our players to play on other tours if their calendars and budget permit. We know that everyone running golf events has their strengths and weaknesses (including us) and that running a great event is not easy, so we appreciate all of the operators trying to create opportunities for competitive amateur golfers! Be Treated Like a Pro We put the player experience front and center when we run our events. We play great courses with great pace of play that we know you will enjoy. From our registration tent to our live scoring leaderboard to our post-round social, when you play APT you will feel like you got your money's worth, were well taken care of, and will want to come back. Prize Pool & Trophies Our Prize Pools and side game payouts are consistently among the largest you will find across the country and include more than just winners. We have options for the scratch golfer and the weekend warrior, and we present winners of each Division with first-class trophies you will be proud to show off to your family and friends! Improve Your Game Playing Tournament golf is one of the best ways to improve your game. Not only will you be matched in Divisions against golfers of a similar skill level, you will meet and compete against golfers who love the game as much as you do. You will experience the thrill of the first tee, the excitement of moving up the live leaderboard, and the tension of finishing putts. Your game will improve faster and more dramatically than you can imagine! When you play Tournament golf, you gain an edge over your golf buddies in the next money game because you know how to raise the stakes! National Tour Benefits Being backed by a National Tour has a multitude of benefits. The National Office is constantly working to bring great opportunities to our members. Membership in your local chapter makes you eligible to compete for Player of the Year locally and nationally and also allows you to play in any chapter across the country. Whether you are trying to qualify for a Major or the National Championships, you will have opportunities to compete across the country, and our National Handicap Committee works weekly to ensure that every contest across the country has fair competition. Accepting ages 13 and up. Membership questions contact Rich Czeslawski at richc@aptgolf.org
