Frequently
Asked
Questions
Yes. When you join AZ GOLF and establish an official Handicap Index®, you'll receive a GHIN Number if you don't already have one. If you have an existing GHIN Number, use it when joining or renewing so your scoring history and Handicap Index® stay connected to your account. Your GHIN Number remains with you even if your membership expires or you change clubs.
An AZ GOLF membership gives you access to an official USGA® Handicap Index® through GHIN. A Handicap Index® allows golfers of different skill levels to compete fairly, track their progress, maintain an official scoring record, and participate in eligible AZ GOLF events and championships. To establish one, join an authorized AZ GOLF club and post at least 54 holes of golf.
Active AZ GOLF members can access exclusive discounts and offers on golf products, dining, shopping, travel, and more through the Member Benefits Locker Room. Use the email address associated with your GHIN account to access your AZ GOLF member discounts through the AZ GOLF website.
Your score history is not deleted if your membership expires or becomes inactive. Your Handicap ID/GHIN Number also stays the same, allowing you to reactivate your membership and continue using your existing scoring history when you return. Extended lapsed membership may result in GHIN Number/Handicap ID being recycled and score history being deleted.
