[PHOENIX, Ariz.] October 1, 2026 — AZ GOLF is proud to announce the coaching staff selected to guide Team Arizona during its inaugural year in 2027.
Rob Rashell has been named Head Coach, with Dana Fall serving as Assistant Coach and Sarah Bowman selected as Team Captain. Together, the trio will lead Team Arizona as it begins its role within the United States Golf Association’s (USGA) National Development Program (USNDP), providing elite junior golfers across the country with additional opportunities for development, competition and talent identification.
Team Arizona is the state’s branch of the USNDP and will feature 24 of the most promising junior golfers the Grand Canyon State has to offer. Coaches will work to create an environment which supports the athletes’ growth both on and off the golf course while complementing the coaching and development already provided by each player’s individual instructors.
“We’re incredibly excited to welcome Rob Rashell, Dana Fall and Sarah Bowman to the Team Arizona coaching staff. Their experience, passion and commitment to helping young athletes reach their potential make them an outstanding addition to our program,” said Team Arizona Committee member Alex Tsakiris. “With this talented group leading the way, we’re excited to continue building the future of Team Arizona and supporting the next generation of Arizona golfers.”

Rob Rashell — Head Coach
Rashell is one of Arizona’s most accomplished golf instructors and former touring professionals. A University of Washington standout, Rashell enjoyed a successful 15-year professional playing career including membership on both the PGA TOUR and European Tour, appearances in the 2005 and 2008 U.S. Opens and a victory at the 2001 Arizona Open.
Today, Rashell is recognized as one of Arizona’s premier instructors, working with players of all skill levels, from beginners to PGA TOUR professionals like Joel Dahmen.
“I am very much looking forward to spending time with the best junior golfers in Arizona, helping them in any and every way possible both on and off the golf course,” Rashell said. “Very thankful to the Arizona Golf Foundation for putting the teams together and giving me an opportunity to share what I've learned over the last 30 years as both a player and a coach.”

Dana Fall — Assistant Coach
An Arizona native and professional golfer, Fall has competed on both the LPGA Tour and Epson Tour. A standout junior golfer from Chandler, she enjoyed an accomplished collegiate career at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), where she was a two-time All-American and three-time Mountain West Player of the Year.
Fall continues to inspire the next generation through her passion for the game and commitment to player development.
“I’m incredibly honored and excited to be selected as an assistant coach for Team Arizona,” Fall said. “Having grown up playing golf in Arizona, I know firsthand how important the right opportunities, guidance and support can be in a young player’s development. I’m looking forward to giving back to the game and helping the next generation of Arizona golfers grow both on and off the course.”

Sarah Bowman — Team Captain
Bowman is a veteran LPGA Tour caddie with extensive experience working alongside some of the world’s top professional golfers. Throughout her career, she has caddied for accomplished LPGA Tour players including Alena Sharp, Su Oh and Auston Kim.
Bowman is passionate about sharing the insights and lessons she has gained on tour, offering a unique behind-the-scenes perspective on what it takes to succeed at the highest level.
“I’m incredibly honored and excited to serve as Team Arizona Captain,” Bowman said. “This is an amazing opportunity to help bring together some of the most talented young golfers in our state, while creating an environment where they can grow, compete and learn. I’m excited to be a part of their journey.”
Team Arizona’s coaching positions are volunteer roles, with the coaches and captain serving in a non-compensated capacity and contributing their time, knowledge and leadership to support the program and its athletes.
The 2027 Team Arizona roster is expected to be announced later this year, with programming scheduled to begin in January 2027.
