ORO VALLEY, ARIZ. – Robin Krapfl walked off the 18th green at Oro Valley Country Club knowing they’d sealed the win after a peek at the leaderboard. “I know how to pick good partners,” she joked to her playing partners—and she’s clearly right.
Less than three weeks after defending their Women’s Scotch Play title, Leigh Klasse and Krapfl snagged their second team win of the year at the 2024 Arizona Women’s Partners Tournament. Following a round of Four-Ball and Stroke Play round (both played under modified Stableford scoring formats), Klasse and Krapfl racked up a total of 66 Stableford points, handily overcoming the second place finishers by nine points.
“I think we really ham-and-egged it well,” Krapfl said. “Yesterday, I played well on the front and Leigh played well on the back. We did kind of the same thing today. Leigh played well on the front, I helped a little on the back and she came through again at the end. (Leigh’s) just a great partner.”
“We both have such a consistent game that in a format like this, it’s important to get points on every hole and we did a good job of that,” Klasse said.

The Arizona Women’s Partners Tournament marked Krapfl’s second win of the season and Klasse’s third. Along with her victories in Scotch Play and Partners with Krapfl, Klasse also claimed the Arizona Senior Women’s Amateur Championship.
