Jorge Parada Cards a Four-Round Score of 27-Under-Par to Win the 2025 Arizona Stroke Play Championship

PARADISE VALLEY, AZ – Jorge Parada went wire-to-wire to claim the title of 2025 Arizona Stroke Play Champion at Camelback Golf Club Padre Course. Known for its towering trees, strategic bunkers, and water-lined fairways, the course provided a stunning yet challenging setting for the championship. With an impressive four-day total of 27-under-par, Parada dominated the field thanks to his powerful driving, solid putting, and consistent play across all four rounds.

RESULTS

Day 1 was off to a scorching start with a high of 113°F on July 10, but the heat didn’t slow the action. Jorge Parada and Tucker Clark both shot rounds of 6-under, finishing the day tied for the top spot. Parada carried this momentum into Day 2, highlighted by an eagle on hole 12. He carded his best round of the tournament at 7-under, bringing his total to 14-under-par and securing the solo lead going into the weekend. By the end of the third round, Parada was sitting at 20-under, just one shot ahead of defending champion, Johnnie Clark (-19). Paired with Clark and Byrum for the final round, Parada wasted no time. He racked up five birdies on the front nine, going 5-under through the first nine holes and extending his lead. Despite impressive day 4 scores from the field—including Brody Leid, who tied the course record with a 62 (-9) to finish third—Parada stayed sharp on the back nine, never letting up as he defended his lead. He finished the tournament at a staggering 27-under-par, holding the lead from start to finish.
