Championship Format
The championship is 54-holes of individual stroke play over the course of three days. The winner at the end of the event will receive an automatic exemption into the 2026 U.S. Women's Amateur Championship at The Honors Course in Tennessee.

About Terravita Golf & Country Club
One of Scottsdale’s most prominent private golf clubs, Terravita features a newly renovated 18-hole championship course framed by the Sonoran Desert and Black Mountain. Originally designed by Billy Casper, renowned architect Phil Smith oversaw the renovation that included upgrades such as USGA-spec greens, re-contoured fairways, modern tee boxes, and a state-of-the-art irrigation system for year-round playability.

The Director of Agronomy, Ed Shimkus, brings over 30 years of expertise and exacting standards that keep the course in exceptional condition every day.

On championship week, the course will feature two par-5’s over 530 yards and a par-3 stretching 178 yards.

Championship History
Established in 1974, the Arizona Women's Amateur Championship features three rounds of stroke play to determine the state's top female amateur golfer. The tournament carries high stakes for competitive golfers, as the winner earns an automatic exemption into the U.S.Women's Amateur Championship. More recent champions of the event include Brooke Seay, who won the 51st Championship at TPC Scottsdale (Champions), and Nikki Oh, who took home the title at the 49th event. Heather Farr holds the most Arizona Amateur Championship titles with five, winning each championship from 1980-1984.
