AZ GOLF Extends Partnership with Grass League as Official Tournament Operations Partner

PHOENIX, Ariz. AZ GOLF is excited to announce it has extended its partnership with Grass League, the world’s first high stakes par 3 golf league. As part of the agreement, AZ GOLF will serve as the Official Tournament Operations Partner, overseeing all on-course operations for Grass League events.

The partnership is effective immediately and will run under a two-year agreement through December 2027.

“Grass League is excited to partner with AZ GOLF as the official Tournament Operator of our qualifying events and championships,” said Jake Hoselton, CEO, Grass League. “As competition remains at the core of the Grass League, AZ GOLF brings a level of professionalism, structure, and oversight that is critical to the integrity of the game—while helping us forge new pathways in defining par 3 competition.”

Under the terms of the agreement, AZ GOLF will support operations for Grass League qualifying events both in-market and out-of-market through 2027. AZ GOLF’s responsibilities will include inside-the-ropes operations, registration and check-in, facilitation of pre-event player meetings, on-course rules officiating and official scoring.

The partnership will debut publicly at Grass League’s first event of the 2026 season, scheduled for April 24–25 at Grass Clippings Rolling Hills in Tempe.

Three Grass League events are currently scheduled for 2026:

  • Grass Clippings Open — April 24–25 (Tempe, AZ)
  • Summer Grind — September 5–6 (Venue TBD)
  • Grass League Championship — December 4–5 (Tempe, AZ)

As part of this collaboration, AZ GOLF will host its MiniStix night-golf event at Grass Clippings Rolling Hills in 2026, along with four driving range activations throughout the year.

This partnership marks a significant step forward in elevating competitive par 3 golf, combining Grass League’s innovative format with AZ GOLF’s experience in tournament operations.

“This multi-year agreement is really about where we think the game is going and the role AZ GOLF can play in that,” said Catherine Carmignani, AZ GOLF Executive Director. “Grass League is doing something different, it’s bringing a new kind of energy and a new audience into golf. That’s something we want to be part of. This is more than just tournament operations, it’s about helping shape what the future of the game can look like.”
