SUN LAKES, ARIZ. – Representing Desert Mountain Club, Brenda Williams and Judy Dottten (-1 to par net) won the 2025 Women’s State Medallion hosted by Oakwood Country Club.

18 HOLE MEDALLION RESULTS

The Medallion is an annual event where participants represent their clubs. Each club hosts a qualifier to select its representatives, with the winners of the low gross and low net categories going on to represent the club at Oakwood. On Saturday and Sunday, flights 1-8 play 18 holes of individual stroke play; the team score is the total of the gross player's gross score added to the net player's net score.

On Friday, Mary Buchanan and Susan Bot, representing Pinetop Country Club, won the 9-Hole Medallion on Friday. The following also won in their respective flights:

  • Flight 1: Suzi Spotleson + Kim Coleman (E to par net, Desert Mountain Club)
  • Flight 2: Rosanne Wasilchuk + Jan Milne (+4 to par net, Grand Ladies Golf Association)
  • Flight 3: Caralin King + Anne Marie (+7 to par net, Sun City West - Trail Ridge Ladies)
  • Flight 4: Vickie Martinez + Sandy Deeg (+11 to par net, The Duke Women)
  • Flight 5: Louise Simpson + Nancy Harris (+16 to par net, Continental Golf Club)
  • Flight 6: Tana Wyrick + Susan Olson (+18 to par net, The Views Golf Club)
  • Flight 7: Elizabeth Schon + Robin Nisbet (+17 to par net, San Tan Highlands Golf Club)
