Austin Fisher emerged as the 2025 Arizona Match Play Champion after a determined run through a field of talented players and scorching 100+ degree temperatures at Ak-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Club. After securing the No. 4 seed in the Stroke Play Qualifier, Fisher relied on his powerful long game and precision around the greens during his next five rounds of match play.

Fisher opened match play with a 1-up win over Sean Beveridge, followed by commanding performances against Eric Goldapske (5 & 4) and Kristoffer Marshall (3 & 2). His toughest test came in the semifinals against No. 1 seed Cody Massa. In a tightly contested match that went the distance, Fisher held strong to clinch the win on the 18th hole and earn his place in the championship.

With little time to recover, Fisher faced the No. 2 seed Chris Kamin in the final. Fisher started strong and held the lead for most of the round. Even with a short miss on the 15th green, and an unplayable ball penalty on 16, Fisher made an incredible save to close out the match and take home the title of Match Play Champion.

The senior division final went the distance, with Joseph Cabrera maintaining a one-hole lead through 18 to beat Brian Miller in thrilling fashion. In the legends division, David Rasley took advantage of his first-round bye and worked his way through the match play bracket, eventually defeating Gary Fox (5 & 3) in the final to claim the title.
