AZ GOLF Welcomes New Staff Members Corey Cavanaugh and Chloe Wood

SCOTTSDALE, ARIZ. – AZ GOLF is pleased to announce the addition of two new team members to the Association: Corey Cavanaugh and Chloe Wood. 

Cavanaugh joins the organization in the newly established role of Marketing Manager within the Marketing & Communications Department. He brings more than five years of experience in the sports industry, with prior positions at the Arizona Coyotes and the Matt Shott Arizona Hockey Legacy Foundation. Cavanaugh’s expertise in brand strategy, digital marketing, social media, and partnership development will provide essential support for ongoing initiatives, while also contributing to the implementation of the Association’s strategic plan. 

Wood transitions into the newly created position of Office Coordinator after serving as a P.J. Boatwright Intern with the Association. A graduate of Grand Canyon University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Marketing, she brings a strong background in organizational leadership and golf administration. Wood’s previous experience includes roles with Central Links Golf, the state Golf Association in Kansas, and First Tee, where she served as a lead coach. In this newly created role, Wood will serve the Association in an administrative capacity while also supporting the larger Golf House community. 

“Corey and Chloe are stepping into key roles at a pivotal time for AZ GOLF,” said Catherine Carmignani, Executive Director for AZ GOLF. “As we transition into our new home at Golf House and begin to execute on our new strategic plan, their fresh perspectives and enthusiasm will play an important role in the continued growth and success of our Association.”
